On April 30 & May 1, 2003, the LCCA Education Committee and CISCO, along with apprenticeship coordinators from various locals, hosted a hands on Career Expo for roughly 450 eighth graders from within the county. One of the purposes of the Career Expo is to introduce students to the career opportunities available in construction industry. The first six pictures are from this event.

LCCA’s Education Committee is also involved with the Lake County High School Technology School's Building Trades Program. Annually the Committee arranges a tour of a construction site to show the students what goes on. Boller Construction Company offered tours of the Gurnee Police Station in the beginning and ending stages of construction. The remaining pictures are from these tours.
